Computer eligibility will be verified with Apple????

I got the new 21.5 4K iMac and set it up yesterday. However it seems it may be corrupted from the migration of our old iMac to the new machine. I kept getting the rainbow ball of death on my new iMac, so was suggested to erase and reformat.

So I'm in the recovery mode and can't seem to move past eligibility requirement. I do not want to reinstall from my time machine since im not sure which was corrupted. Helllllp!!!!!!

I would install Sierra only. Once booted into your User, you can manually move over your files. Most likely the corruption was in your User's Library.

If you boot from local or internet recovery it will require to be verified with Apple before install starts..

make sure u have internet connection..
