After I unplug it i saw that i had lost all my songs except 2. Now when i connect my iphone to itunes it says i only have those two songs and about 4gb of other. That 4gb of other use to be all my music. Soooo i do not know what to do. If that is the music and it is damaged how do i delete that 4gb of other? I will put all my music back on my iphone no problem, but the issue is how do i get rid of all 4gb of other stuff

Just do a restore, it will delete everything on the iPhone, then you can sync to get it all back to normal.

OK i will do that but how do i keep my photos that i have taken with my iphone?

first option is assuming your on a mac open iphoto and sync all your photos

second option is when you hit restore say you want to back your phone up. that should do it tho im not sure since its showing up as other. when you say you want to back up it backs up your photos, contacts, emails, etc...
