computer just said something to me

i couldn't understand it though... i just placed an order for an iskin protouch, had ichat/mail and dashboard open.

any idea what might have been said?

is there a hotkey command to say whatever is highlighted? that might have been it.

Finder --> System Prefrences -> System->Speech>Text To Speech, change th voice and speed, set alert status etc...

The other option is the time.
Finder -->System Prefrences -> System->Date and Time>Clock Tab>Announce the time check box.

Or perhaps the computer was telling you not to molest it, or perhaps it was guideing you as to what pleased it. Listen to the computer, don't just hear it. It will improve your relationship with it.

I guessing that because you had just placed an order, it was telling you how much your total is and to pull forward to second window.
