hi there,

Lately i have experienced issues with the interface. When scrolling, moving windows or using expose it doesn't appear to be very smooth unlike my iMac. I have also had times when the interface lags a little when responding to the trackpad. Is this due to graphics card issues which people described earlier.

Sounds like the same thing I have been experiencing. It's especially noticeable while switching between Spaces. (11.6" 1.4ghz 2gb)

Well the worrying thing is that mines is a maxed out 13 inch. Maybe i should take it to apple and get them to have a look. What do you think??

I'm not sure what you mean by a lag. Are you saying that if you do a two-finger scroll there is a delay between the time you scroll and when the screen actually starts moving? There's a tiny delay in my Rev B MacBook Air but nothing I ever really noticed. I'm getting the Rev D today and will compare it.

I was having some yesterday and noted FireFox was hogging 125% of my CPU. I restarted FF and it dropped back down to like 12%. FF plugins and such sometimes hang and can cause system response issues.

I have the 11.6" with 2GB Ram and 128GB SSD and mine has no issues at all. It is pretty fast, no delays what so ever. What applications do you have installed?

Mine has, office 2011 business, dropbox running in background, little snitch firewall, citrix client.

Yea, I've noticed Firefox pumping my CPU up to astronomical levels at times. I just restart and it fixes it immediately. The temperature shot way up during these times and the fan kicked on, that's what made me notice it.

This has only happend once and I have no delays with anything else.

Somewhat ironic....

I had installed the flash blocker FF plug-in yesterday to see the difference between letting Flash sites just have their way with me or not. The plug-in I installed was "FlashBlock." It worked, but was killing my FF resource usage. As soon as I uninstalled it, I went back to normal. So at least with this browser/Flash-plugin combination, I'm better off just running Flash than I am trying to block it!

My symptoms were slow/laggy scrolling in all OSX open apps (Office Word, FF browser, Mac Mail, iCal, etc.) and my fan revving up.

I noticed "AddressBookSync" blowing out my memory and CPU and causing UI lag. +1 on checking activity monitor.

Starting to see this lag / choppiness when showing the dock / dashboard and scrolling some sites in safari. I don't recall this when I first received my Air. I have also noticed that it is not as bad when on AC power vs. battery. Maybe the GPU is being throttled down when on battery power. I guess a clean install of SL would narrow down hardware or software issue.

I have an 11" base model and notice intermittent choppy (slow) scrolling web pages in safari.
Not nearly as smooth as my uni 15 mbp. I do Love this little laptop, but perhaps all the talk of how flawless the experience is may be a bit overrated? I haven't noticed any lag in response to the trackpad though.
This is a small gripe and may just be a software issue of an otherwise awesome machine.
