Concerning "Clear all notifications.."

I don't know if i am missing something but when i get multiple notifications i can clear them all when i press the X button on top...There isn't an individual X button for every notification. When do you use the "Clear all notifications" method?

I use mine if i have a lot of useless notifications I couldn't care less about. But if there are some I need, just swipe on the notification you want to clear and you can clear individual ones.

This is buggy on my iPad Air. I try to clear lots of emails and the keep reappearing.

I clear them and more show up

Hardly using them anymore without sort by App. So much easier and hoping they bring that back, or at least the option to do so. Sent in feedback.
