Hi guys, i have the i5 1tb. ISTAT menus says I have 873gb free after using 57gb. Activity monitor says there is 938 free after 61.59 used and disk utility says 938 free after using 61.85. This is really strange. Can anyone explain what's going on?

OSX uses base 10 counting, iStat uses base 2 counting.
That's my guess anyways
Edit: Finder reports 938gb in base 10 = 938,000,000,000 bytes = 873.6 * (2^30) bytes = 873.6gb in base 2

It looks like that's what it is (at least, I did the calculation on the 61.59GB number; when converted to Base 2, it's about 57GB). Do you have the latest iStat? Their page says they use Base 10 now also (so the number should be the same as Snow Leopard reports)...
