For the people that upgraded to the Series 7, was it (relatively) worth it?

Guys, to put it simply I am confused. I was really happy to order the new 45mm green Apple Watch Series 7 and now that I watch all of these videos and I personally feel that apple used all the same internals and slapped a new screen (with other minor changes, fast charging, more durable, etc) and that is the series 7. We didn't get any specs on the "S7," is there even an S7?

Like a majority of us, we were waiting for a completely new design, 3 cycles passed and not "much" has changed from the series 4. In conclusion I need some guidance. I consider myself an Apple connoisseur, a purest, apple all the way individual. Yet this decision I have never been more confused.

To the people that own the new Apple Watch, please help me not cancel this order!

Any feedback is appreciated, long live the apple community!

I went from the Series 4 to the Series 7 (both stainless). I thought it was well worth it for the bigger screen, always on screen. And yes, I think it is zippier than my old Series 4. If all these factors don't "sing" to you, well then don't bother to upgrade and wait for the next iteration.

I appreciate the quick response. I do have the Apple Watch SS, the OG and it doesn't even turn on anymore and my S2 is extremely laggy. The confusion is real...

Went from space black SS series 4 to graphite SS series 7…. And couldn’t be happier.
Ok great to know, I am at the point to just enjoy the freaking thing! life is too short to worry about a refresh and with that thought process I essentially will never purchase anything since products get updated all the time. Thank you!

That’s the right attitude. What’s the point in waiting around another year? Just enjoy it now. For all you know, you could be in the same boat next year debating whether or not to wait for the series 9.

I agree, and surprised by the difference the larger screen makes for the user interface. The Watch is stunning with this edge to edge display and I find it well worth it.

Upgrading is still a personal choice and depends on wants, needs and budget. I recommend OP to juste try the S7 and make your mind based on your experience more than people’s opinion.

Thank you, going to stick to the order and not cancel the feedback has been very helpful!

I can’t believe nobody is talking about the keyboard! Lol

No, I’m serious… been wanting a native one on the AW for the longest and just when I thought they’d never do it…

It’s better than I expected.
I went ahead and bought a stainless steel model when I saw that the nearby Apple Store had stock for pickup yesterday. The screen is very nice. Everything is good and refined. It’s my second time of owning a stainless steel model since the original Apple Watch.
