If I buy a MBP on the 26th, will it ship with Leopard in some form (as a disc image or maybe just as a seperate install disc)? Or will there still be the risk of having to participate in the program?

Hmm, it will ship with Leopard, I think. Provided you're buying it from Apple.

online or apple retail store?

the retail stores are going to include leopard DVDs in the box i heard, if you buy it online it woulnt ship for a week or so so you most likely will get it pre-installed

ok well, if you purchase it on the 26th, then theres a very good chance itll come pre-loaded, id almost say you definitely would but i dont want to turn out to be a liar
