I'm trying to set up my Apple TV 2 so I can watch TV Shows and movies from my laptop. When I set up my Home Sharing, it asks for my Apple ID. Is that the ID that is associated with my iTunes Store, or is it my iCloud (@me.com) e-mail?

Also, for iTunes Match, do I use my Apple ID (@gmail.com) or my iCloud e-mail (@me.com)?

Thanks!

i have same setup as you. We use GMAIL for iTunes purchases and appletv rentals. use your GMAIL id for purchases and for iTunes match and iCloud just for iCloud stuff like calendar/email/bookmarks/photostream etc. they make iTunes match sound like it is an iCloud feature when it's really not. It's tied to your iTunes account instead.

IIRC it is your Apple ID (iTunes Store) for both.
