Yep. Just go to settings, safari, and content blockers and enable it there.
I would clear your Safari cache AND cookies.

I appreciate your help but I have cleared and deleted everything possible to delete and clear. I followed noobinator’s advice and added the ad blocker app which seems to have solved my issue. To me though it’s crazy we have to add other app to stop this from happening.

There is another thread on this already. Staff have notified MR to inquire with their ad network.

Something is wrong on your end, if Adguard is not blocking the pop up.

Please enlighten me then on what is wrong on “my end” to be causing this. I have deleted and reset everything there is too and once again I will say that we shouldn’t have to add 2nd party Apps just to be able to use Safari without pop ups. I thought Apple was better & safer then this.

I am running Adguard Pro on my iMac as well as my iPhone X, and have yet to get any popups. I don't know what is wrong on your end. All I know is the app works for this problem and many others.

Apple is a great ecosystem but that doesn't mean that it is immune from popups gained from traversing the internet.

Thank you for trying to help me and I do appreciate everyone’s input with this problem. This is just a very frustrating problem.

Thanks to all.

Thanks to all.

Verify you have done the following. On Safari (iOS), go into your Settings and then click on Safari. On the Safari list, make sure all the following are enabled.
  • Block Pop-Ups
  • Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
  • Block All Cookies
  • Ask Websites Not To Track Me

Block All Cookies is just not a real option for most users. This is bad code from an ad delivery platform. It’s their fault. If the ad blockers aren’t catching it, there isn’t much we can do about it other than get the ad network to remove the code and tighten security.

Thanks for your 2c but if it works it works. It may not work for you, but were just trouble shooting here. Waiting for a solution might not be an option for some people. @Op can try these settings without blocking cookies if they haven't done so already.

You’re welcome! You’re right that blocking all cookies isn’t a real solution because it’ll also block you from logging-in to use the MR forums.

Glad I could help.

I just found that out too. By blocking all the cookies I blocked myself right out away from this forum. Thanks

That posters assumption that it was malware in iOS was incorrect. It happens on laptops, phones, tablets, etc. All the same type of Amazon Congratulations ads. Ad blockers block them from what I've seen.

Agreed. Not malware, it’s something affecting the host website not the users device.

And there is a thread in the forum feedback section, someone else posted that add blockers didn’t them all the time.

Thank you for your help. I downloaded the ad blocker you suggested and will give it a try. Do I just need to enable the Ad blocker in Safari or are there other settings I need to change?
Ad blockers help a little bit but I still get those pop up unfortunately. Maybe to a less extent but it’s not 100%. Nor does resetting your internet cookies from my experience fix this. I had posted this exact issue on here. A month or two ago.

iPhones should not have malware/adware like this :(
Ya you literally have to close the page and back track. It truly affects web browsing experience.

Some days the Amazon and Walmart congrats pop ups are incessant, annoying to the point that I turn off my phone, then I’ll go days without getting any at all, on the same websites.
Iphone 7. Clearing cookies / history doesn’t help at all.
