Hi all,

I'm using a MacBook Pro 13" (early 2015). I'd like to connect it to my docking station at work, to connect an external monitor, mouse & keyboard.

This MBP has no USB-C however, which the dock uses. I tried a USB-A to USB-C dongle, but only the keyboard & mouse work. My Mac does not recognize the monitor.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? The MBP has 2 old fashioned Thunderbolt-ports (which look like Mini Displaylink). Are there Thunderbolt to USB-C dongles or something that'll make my MBP connect to the monitor, keyboard & mouse trough the USB-C input of the dock?

Or if that's too much: any chance of only connecting the external display trough some thunderbolt to USB-C dongle or something?

Doesn't the 2015 MBP have an HDMI port on the right side?
Have you tried using that?
