hi, I got a car that has aux for the audio connector. I am trying to connect my ipod to the car so I can play it on my car stereo. I have search online and found that I can either use the following cables:

mini-stereo cable where 2 ends has the stereo cable
a mini-stereo to dock cable

I am wondering anyone has any expereince on eithe rone? Also, which one would works with all of my ipods (a touch and a nano).

I read somewhere says that newer ipod won't play music through the dock connector, is that correct?

Thanks.

New iPods wont charge throught the connector but will play music just fine.

so I can in fact use the min-stereo to dock then? I read it somewhere that say that it won't work with iphone but I am not sure if that would be any issue with ipod touch as they are essentially the same.

Why is apple keep chaning their design. Annoying.

I am pretty sure you can.
Actually apple told other ipod accessory makers about their plans 5 years ago but no one changed anything.
