hey im new to this forum and not the best with computers, but i have an eMac (10.3) and ive been told about connecting macs to TV's, does anyone know what cables i need or programs to set it up?
cheers

Your eMac should have either a Mini-VGA or a Mini-DVI port on it. If it is the former, you just need to get a Mini-VGA to TV adapter, which will have S-Video and Composite that you can connect to your TV. If it is the latter, you can either get a mini-DVI to DVI adapter, then a DVI to HDMI adapter to connect to an HDTV or a Mini-DVI to TV adapter, which will have the same connectors as the Mini-VGA to TV adapter.

Once connected, the computer should recognize the TV and you can use the Displays Preference Pane to configure the connection for your use.
