Connect MacBook to an Acer laptop as dual screen

I have an Acer laptop and a MacBook 12'' and I want to use my Mac as main screen and the Acer as a screen extension.

How can I do that without tweaking the hardware or compromising security?

Get the app from synergy https://symless.com/synergy its the nearest you are going to get as it allows KB/mouse sharing drag and drop etc across platforms

eg you use only one KB/Mouse but you drag the file over and open not the open file over, but result is the same and you can C&P between screens
