Hi.

Apple thunderbolt display came with one cable with mag charger for MacBook and thunderbolt at the same cable.

I bought a thunderbolt cable in the store, should i use a external thunderbolt cable to mini or should i use the cable that came with the screen and just remove the mag charger part?

Maby a stupid question, but the dealer says that i must buy the thunderbolt cable to use because is wasnt include to use with a mini?

Happy for the support i get :)

Use the cable from the Apple Display (I believe that's the only way it will work). The dealer is correct that it isn't included with the Mac mini, but you don't need it unless you want to connect another device (external HDD, etc) to your Mac mini (new one has 2 ports) or daisy chain to the Thunderbolt port on your Apple Display.

Thank you for the answers! :)
Very good to have fast support in here, the dealer should know that i dosn't need to buy a cable to use it but it's fine to have a extra cable :)

I use the older 24" LED Cinema Display. Fairly similar but the cable comes with 3 ports

1 USB
1 Mag Safe
1 Mini-DP

The 27" TB Display dropped too 2

1 Magsafe
1 TB

Would expect that use in the same way in that just plug the TB into the mini, and leave the magsafe loose. Is how I use the LED Cinema Display with my mini.
