I am trying to unlock my phone using anySIM v1.2.1u using the instructions provided in hackthatphone.

I ran it with a t-mobile sim and everything worked fine, and it said the unlock was successful.

Then i set the airplane mode to off, and it said a new sim card was found, connect to iTunes. This is not mentioned in the guide. Should I connect it to iTunes then?

i didn't and I replaced the SIM with my original valid AT&T sim, and everything worked fine, and I did not need to connect to iTunes.

Thinking I should run the anySIM program with my original SIM, I ran it again, but it said it cannot unlock the phone, and quit.

What am I doing wrong here/. Should i put in the new SIM card and connect to iTunes or should i use some tool like Independence?
