Hi everyone.
This may seem like a silly question but I just bought an iMac a couple of weeks ago and decided today that I wanted to use my Creative Inspire T10 speakers with it. The speakers use a green audio input cable which had always been a dedicated port on my previous Windows machine. As the iMac only has a standard headphone port, this is the only place I can plug the Stereo aux cable into. My question being, is it ok to use this port or should this be used for headphones only? Are there any differences in the connectors on these cables to headphone ones? I guess I'm being a little over protective to my mac at the minute, I don't want to cause any damage to it.
