Ok experts, can you connect a PS3 to a mac pro or directly to the 30" ACD not really a gamer but would like to use it for GT5 as a race simulator.

You could use a HDMI to DVI cable for connecting the PS3 to the ACD directly or via a KVM switch, if necessary.

Edit: (misinterpreted original post) - Would that work? Sony enables the HDCP copy protection flag on HDMI connections for ALL system functions, not just Bluray playback.

To the original poster, I have a BlackMagic Intensity Pro installed in my MacPro and use it to capture game footage for my YouTube channel. The PS3 is connected using the Sony component cables.
