My computer has an HDMI port and I'm able to use an HDTV as an external monitor. I was wondering if it's possible to plug the ATV2 into the HDMI port and view the ATV2 on my computer. Has anyone been successful in doing this? I searched on Google but found nothing.

BTW, my system is a Dell Studio 540.

Thanks in advance :)

That HDMI port (unless on your monitor) is likely outbound only and is there so that you can plug your computer into an HDMI enabled TV. To view your ATV on your computer you can use a little application called iTunes. ;)

Thanks for your quick response, and you're probably right. I was wanting to try out the iPhone mirroring on the computer, but I realize it wouldn't be any different than mirroring it onto my HDTV. I was mostly just curious to see if I could do it :p. Thanks again :)!

No worries, kind of figured it was something that you were simply over thinking. I do it often myself. ;)
