Connecting iPhone 13 to car radio

Can we listen to our phone (iPhone13) thru our car radio without using cable?

I have bluetooth but I can't seem to figure it out.

Usually via Bluetooth, you can do either phone calls or music. Some cars (likely older ones) might only support phone calls.

Pull out the car's user manual and go through it. The dealership might be able to help you too.

It's a 2022 Toyota with Apple Car Play.

A cable works just fine, but it's a nuisance , often in the way.

I'll call the dealer, maybe they'll know.

I recently tried connecting my iPhone 13 to my car radio, and I thought I'd share a few tips. If you're using Bluetooth, it's usually a simple process – just make sure your car’s Bluetooth is on, then go into your iPhone's settings, find your car's system under “Bluetooth,” and pair the devices.

If your car has Apple CarPlay, the connection will be even easier. Just plug your iPhone into the USB port, and CarPlay should pop up automatically. If your car doesn’t support wireless CarPlay, make sure your cable is in good condition, as a faulty one can sometimes cause connection issues.

For those who don’t have Bluetooth or CarPlay, you can still use an AUX cable, or even an FM transmitter if your car has neither. It’s a bit more old school but works just fine!

Has anyone else had trouble connecting their iPhone 13, or do you have any other methods that work for you?
