I want to watch my massive anime collection on my TV, but the TV in my room is somewhat of a relic, with just AV connections. I have the adapter that came with my MBP, but in this case, I believe it would do absolutely nothing at all. I was wondering if there was a DVI to AV cable connector. I have a HD Samsung in the living room, but I doubt I can get the real estate time on it to make it worthwile trying. Thanks for the help, and sorry for the ten millionth post of this topic. -Chris

You can get a Mini-DVI -> S-Video / Composite adapter from the Apple Store. IIRC it's £25 (~$40), and if you don't have a composite input on your TV you can use a composite -> SCART adapter. (You might also want a 3.5mm stereo jack -> 2 x RCA adapter to fill the other 2 composite slots)
