Connecting MBP to Sony via HDMI - flickering (with video)

Hey guys,

I am having trouble hooking up my MBP to a Sony flatscreen TV. Connecting the mbp works just fine on all my other TVs (Samsung) but with the Sony I get a strange flickering about every 20 seconds or so otherwise the connection works just fine but I cant seem to find out where the problem is. Maybe somebody can help me.

To describe my problem I shot a little video and uploaded on youtube, the flickering appears towards the end of the vid. The same problem reappears every 20-60 seconds or so.

make sure you have the resolution output for the TV set to what the TV can display. I had some issues with hooking my MBP to my TV when I have the output set to 1080p and my TV was only 720p

the tv is a "full hd" ... so this can not be the issue here unfortunately. anyone?
