Connecting New MBA with Apple Display Question

Halfway down it shows the monitor being connecting to the laptop with the magsafe cord that uses the usb, magsafe port, and display port. However on the new MBA the magsafe port is on the opposite side of the display port. Will the cable reach? I have not physically seen it in stores, so I am unsure if it is compatible or not, or have another method of connecting the MBA with the new displays.

Yes, it will reach.

A lot of people complained about that on reviews, as it looks a bit messy compared to all cables plugging on one side only, but it works just fine.
