Hi

What a great Forum and folks.
I guess I have that “old age” problem.

Trying to set up a new Mac desktop.
Would be even more lost if not for you folks. Help has been great; very appreciated. Going well.

Was amazed to see no USB ports in back. All my “stuff” has USB connectors

What is the difference between the two sets of ports in the rear ?

What are they called ?

What exactly should I order from Amazon to go from my USB to these rear ports?

Caveats when doing ?

Thanks again,
Bob

Hi

Really helps

It’s a brand new desktop model.
Came yesterday.
24” screen.
1 GB SSD
might be called an iMac. Not sure.
Not sure of alpha/numeric model number, if there is one.

Truly appreciate the help.

Best regards,
Bob

That’s a current 24” iMac.

As said in post #2, it has USB-C ports while your devices have USB-A connectors — you’ll need the cable linked to in post #2. One for each USB-A device.
