Hi all,
Just finished updating my MBP 16” M1 Max to Ventura and now I can’t connect my external raid without the computer freezing up and rebooting. This will continue again and again until i disconnect the drive.
The drive in question is a G-speed Studio 24tb connected via a thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter and into my Caldigit TS3. I’ve tried connecting it directly to my MacBook and the problem remains. I’ve also tried different cables but still no luck. Has anyone else had a similiar problem?
I forgot to turn on my brain and create a back-up before updating so I suppose there’s no way for me to go back to monterey?
Very frustrating since the raid is where I store all my work files and even though it’s up there in age it has worked flawlessly so far. Would love to keep using it instead of needing to do a $4000 upgrade because of Ventura.
