Connecting to Windows PC in my network?

Ok, so I got as far as the "SMB/CIFS File System authentication" screen.

I see the Workgroup/domain, which is set to HOME

Name is my shortname for OSX.

Do I have a password? I dont use a password for my main account. What do I do now?

Also, there is no password for the Windows acct. either.

you just type in the user name of the pc. you have to erase the mac os x user name. you may have to put a password on it if it doesn't work.

you have to do it on the windows machine. you go to control panel -> user accounts -> add password
