Hello yall

My college's network has been pretty normal.

But few days ago when i try to download anything off iTunes and it asks me for my Apple ID and PW, after that i get a message saying that "The network connection was refused. make sure the network settings are correct..."

I get this message ONLY when i want to buy something, or enter to my account information, or check for available downloads... basically i get this message every time i want to enter a secure connection.
And everything else is perfectly normal.

i did not change anything in my preferences (i dont believe i did) and my network is fine, because i check with my friends and there iTunes store is perfectly fine.

i Have 10.5.6 and itunes 8.1
Please help!

Contact apple, it's a common problem with the new iTunes 8.1. I'm having the same problem. iTunes deleted a lot of music (Purchased & Imported) and they reapplied those songs to my account, but I keep getting the same error message.
