I am working with a late 2012 Mac Mini with fusion drive, connected to an NEC 272 monitor and a LaCie 5 Big. This has been my working system for several years. With just the monitor connected, the computer works well. As soon as I switch on the LaCie 5 Big, the screen essentially grays out (the image is still there, but it looks less vivid and is not clickable). Thunderbolt 1 connection. Thunderbolt cord was replaced, as was the power supply, so those don't appear to be the issue. This change occurred gradually over the course of several weeks, and at first I could bring it back with a reboot. No longer. Any ideas?
