My iPad appears to be getting slower each day connecting to safari, I keep getting a message popping up saying unable to show page because server not responding and I'm not sure if this is a broadband speed problem, a wireless router problem or the dreaded iPad software problem. Can anybody shed any light on this?

I've been getting the exact thing the last few days, wasn't a problem for the first few weeks but now its happening every day.

When this happened to me, not on my iPad, but on my Macbook, it turned out to be my ISPs DNS server.

I changed to the Google DNS servers in my network settings and that solved the issue.

Search for changing DNS search servers to Google or public domain DNS servers.

With mine it works fine for a while but then if I turn the ipad off for a few minutes and go back it wont connect.

If I then turn it off and on again it will reconnect again...

It didn't happen to my iPad. Maybe I agree with you. The reason of connection problems is the network rather than the iPad.

Connection problem

The other thing I constantly notice is that I never seem to get any more than 1 bar on on the wireless strength symbol top left of screen. Can anybody explain wether this is a router problem or software problem.

I had the same problem with my 64gb wifi iPad. You can resolve the problem briefly by turning off the wifi and turning it back on. This became too much of an issue for me so I saw a Genius at Apple.

They diagnosed my ipad and were able to determine that I had a piece of software that was corrupted. After a restore did not fix the problem, they offered to take my iPad back - no restocking fee and exchange it for a 3G version. I had to pay the difference of course but I'm much happier with my new iPad and best of all, no more wifi issues.
