Wife & I are planning on getting a couple of the Xs model because of size, but have read about a lot of connection/dropped call problems for the Xs. I only remember one person mentioning which carrier was being used. We can easily go with either major carrier.

Now that I have the new, (almost) bug, I'd like to do it fairly soon.

Thanx for your help!

AFAIK, there’s no answer that’s universally true. I live in the southeastern US and when travelling in the Appalachian mountains, sometimes coverage is better with one network vs the other.

Now Verizon uses CDMA and ATT uses GSM. CDMA has a greater range than GSM so in the early days CDMA had generally better connectivity, but problem areas are always shrinking with both providers. I used to years ago, check the provider’s coverage maps for the areas that I frequented, mostly out of curiosity.
