hi I was just wondering if anyone had a link to yonah vs. Conroe benchmarks I have been searching the web and can only find yonah vs. merom benchmarks.

The best I've been able to do is compare Core Duo against Althon 64 X2. The Core Duo @ 2.0 GHz compares very well to the 3800+ and 4000+ in some instances.

Then compare those to Conroe.

Anyways, Yonah is a mobile chip whereas Conroe is for desktops. It's be more fair to compare Yonah to Merom, which Anandtech has done.

Exactly, but like the OP I am also interested in seeing a direct comparison between Yonah/Merom and Conroe. Future iMacs may contain Conroe and it's worth estimating how much of an improvement that will make.
