Considering a Refurbished MacBook

I am considering buying a refurbed MacBook form the Apple website. My biggest concern is the overheating issues that the CDs seemed to have when they came out. Has anybody purchased one recently? I would love to know how it runs. This would definitely be more of a LAPtop, so overheating would be a problem.

The overheating issues are only limited to the earlier machines, so just buy with confidence!

I've had my refurb MacBook for about 2 weeks now. No regrets at all.

I've had mine for about two months, it's been in for service twice. Once for not sleeping when I close the lid, then I had to send it back because the dope that worked on it scratched the hell out of it.

I'm still not opposed to buying Apple refurbs, though. The problems I had could have happened with any computer, new or used.

I bought a refurb black macbook for $899 at a local apple store. There were a couple VERY minor cosmetic issues but the machine runs great and doesn't overheat which is most important. Well worth saving a few hundred bucks!!!
