Well now that my mac pro has sold pretty much I am beginning to look at imacs. I sold my mac pro cuz i really wasnt using the power .. no need for 8 cores. Just waiting for my 30 acd to sell.

So i am considering picking up a new 27in imac .. all i do with my computer really is browse the net .. download music and movies and use the storage to stream it to my popcorn hour .. my mbp i use for my school stuff but i dont think i am going leave my mbp on all the time to download and stream hence why i am considering an imac.

My sister recently got a 27 imac i5 and its a nice machine .. im always used to buying the higher end ones even though i dont really use them .. i was looking at getting a new 27 i7 imac .. was considering an ssd but think id rather save that 700 dollars or so .. and maybe just ge tthe normal 1tb drive and run and external .. i used to play WoW alot but stopped I might come back when cata comes out so i would like to be able to play that hence why i would pick up the newer imac with the better graphics ..

I most likely will end up selling this imac for a newer one when it refreshes .. what to do ? should i just use my i7 mbp and buy an external and when i want to stream movies just leave it on ?

graphics are weaker though correct ? its about equal to the 4870 that was in my mac pro ?
