You're in a Macbook Air forum asking if the Macbook Air is good...I think it's pretty obvious what answers you will receive. Do some searching around here and you'll likely find what you need.

Depends on what your needs are; transportability, 3lbs, sleek look to it, awesome keyboard, the best connectivity around (N) and Apple really takes care of their MacBook Air owners via AppleCare. I've owned two of them and Apple always treated me right...

I absolutely LOVE my revised MBA. It cost a small fortune but is worth every penny of it. The whole point of the MBA is to still have the power of the Mac yet be super light and portable and have a beautiful display to look at. How could we not love it? In my opinion, the revised MBA is the coolest Mac ever.

I did have the original which was problematic, but I cannot say enough about the new model. AND, I am actually planning to upgrade the day the MBA is revised. It's not that I don't love my MBA, it's just that I want more. I want more of it. I cannot wait for the future of the MBA. It should get even better from here.

So, buy the MBA and LOVE IT! I am sure you will if you are even considering it.

Definitely consider the SSD if you want it to be really fast or plan to use it as a primary computer.

Best wishes with it.

It's a very nice machine yeah.

I love it for the ease of moving it around. I wouldn't pull it out nearly as often at school if it was a normal Macbook.

The display difference compared to the normal Macbook is also huge, easily worth $300 imo, unless you just have it connected to an external most of the time.
