iPad Pro Considering upgrade from Air 2 to Pro 11

Hi,

I am considering upgrading my 4 year old Air 2 to the 2018 Pro 11.

TBH my use case doesn't justify upgrading but having played with the Pro 11 in the Apple Store I just like the new device.

So a question for those who have upgraded from the Air 2 - how much better is the screen? Is the size difference noticeable?

I am not a pro user, I use my iPad completely for content consumption. You will notice how much more space 11" affords you over 9.7 while still managing to be extremely comfortable to hold. It's incredible. The refresh rate and smooth scrolling on the 11 is definitely worth it. The wireless antenna is able to use my full internet speed, where as the Air would max out at a third of my top speed. Face ID is fast and works so much better than my iPhone X. There is nothing wrong with my iPad Air 2 and I could have continued using it, but I am glad I upgraded.

My wife has the Air 2 whilst I have the 2019 iPad Pro 12.9”
Not counting the screen sizes; the difference in screen, usage and performance is staggering.

Also, bear in mind there is a chance the Air 2 may be dropped from this years iOS 13 update.
