Howdy guys, let's start with a few disclaimers,
1. I am aware that there is a thread on the Space Gray, Stainless Steel, Link Bracelet watch / orders. The purpose of that thread was not very explicit, and there were also comments on separate orders of the Link Bracelet (of the white one), cause certain combination would yield better overall shipping days. This thread is different and only concerns the space gray version of the link bracelet stainless steel version. As separate band purchase for this version is not possible, the scope of subject should be much smaller.
2. I am also aware that there is an excel spreadsheet created for the purpose of shipping status updates for proxying rough estimates for "processing" orders. And I know it gets accidental updates* a lot by interesting folks*. As of the most current revision* of that excel, sparse information on orders of this particular model remains.
3. Given the baseline delivery estimate of this model starting at 4-6 weeks for the very first orders, I hope this post could be a place where people who have purchased this model, or are interested in buying this model, could contribute or find some information that might help with the current purchase, or any future purchases from apple.
I have read some (a lot) of posts on watch order / delivery status updates, while part of me sees the irony of the fuss about a piece of consumer electronics without which lives had been perfectly okay, part of me find it hard to resist joining the hype and be part of this funny movement. So I will include information on my order of this model in a format that is easy to follow. If you happen to have ordered either the 38mm or the 42mm version of the Space Black, Stainless Steel, Link Bracelet watch, do submit information in a similar format that helps interested readers.
