Ive been getting calls from "Unkown" since 6 AM this morning. When I answer it says "press 1 to accept and 2 to send to voicemail." When I choose either option, it disconnects. Its happening about every 5 mins.

iBlackmail wont block the calls no matter what I do.

Any tips on how to stop this or what to do? I also have an unknown call on my google voice account...

Those calls are to your google voice account. Hence the prompt to answer or send to voicemail. Block that number from your GV account and you should be OK. Unless they are using different lines every time.

How do I block an unknown number from GV?

While viewing the incoming call, select the "more" link and select "block caller"

I've never had an unknown to my GV account so I'm not positive it will work but try it out.

I'll try it. I've blocked gv fom forwarding to my cell. Odd thing is I hae a voicemail. GV transcried it as "Hello." but when I listen it's just some beeps. Creepy.

GV picks up background noise in it's trancriptions very well. It could have just heard the beeps and whatnot and it's best guess was "hello" or it may have picked up you saying hello if it somehow went to voicemail while you were still trying to figure out what's going on. If you can check the transcription on a computer is the "hello" gray? If so, that's a pretty good indicator that GV didn't really know what was said.

Edit: Sorry, I read your post too fast. I see now that you said you listened to the message and heard only beeps and stuff so it clearly wasn't you saying hello. The trancription of noises is still probably the culprit.

Boy, it look like you got a fatal attracion on your hands, didn't it? I know, I had two or three of'em in my day.

go to www.trapcall.com and get the free service, it will show you the number that is calling you. It forwards your calls to a 1800 number, and federal law says that you have to show your number when you call an 800#.. After you figure out who is calling you, I would reset your phone. Let me know if it works on the iphone, I only used it on my winmo phone. <M>
