iPhone Constant itunes restore error 1600

Hey guys,

So the story is I wanted to restore my already jailbroken iphone 4 (already on 5.1.1b) to 5.1.1b.

I have saved my SHSH with Tinyumbrella, and has also pressed start tss server on TU prior to i restore the phone

Only I have got my phone to DFU mode before I tried to restore it back to 5.1.1b

I have also deleted any gs.apple.com related command inside the hosts file at /private/etc

But, after more than 10 tries, I still couldnt get it to restore. It constantly gives me error 1600.

I was wondering if there is anything wrong with Tinyumbrella, but I am not sure....

Restores via TU on 5.1.1 don't work anymore.

You need to stitch your SHSH/APTicket combi to a 5.1.1 IPSW with redsn0w and restore in DFU in iTunes.

Search the many threads on this on page 1.

pwnedDFU mode is required for iTunes to install the stitched IPSW
