some time ago a problem appeared, I use Windows 11 and Mac OS in these OS the video cards overheat in the task manager it does not show that the video card is loaded but in the program for the video card it shows 100% load on video card number 2, in Mac OS the video cards are also loaded. I do not know where to start looking for this problem, Windows is completely reinstalled. I will be very grateful if you write some advice

Is the GPU running a load, or just has an elevated temperature? Also, got anything interesting plugged in, like an 8K monitor?

Under macOS -> Activity Monitor -> Window -> GPU History (or Command-4)

This will show processing load for each GPU. I don't know how to do this under Windows.

If it's just elevated temps on GPU #2, with no corresponding load, then the heatsink grease probably needs redoing on GPU #2. If it is dried out grease, I'd redo it on both GPUs, and maybe even the CPU. Assuming it's the factory grease, all three are the same age.

there is no load in the task manager, but in the program from amd the second video card is 99% loaded

Better track down whatever GPU task you set up. Or someone may be mining crypto on your MP.

Try checking under macOS too. My reasoning is it's unlikely you have an equivalent runaway process (or infection) under both OSes. So if it's present under both Win and MacOS, then it's a hardware issue, or something running at the OpenCore level.

I don't know how but the problem disappeared by itself, it lasted for more than 2-3 months

In task manager GPU 1 is for the displays, GPU 0 is for special calculating or can be used with crossfire on Windows. In the AMD tool is GPU 1 main and GPU 2 secondary

100% is not normal on a simple desktop, what driver are you using?

GPU 1 предназначен для дисплеев, GPU 0 — для специальных вычислений или может использоваться с Crossfire в Windows.

подскажите как отключить красную лампочку в разъеме, я забыл как называется эта технология, из-за этого нет звука на встроенных динамиках, как это отключить на Windows 11

Could not be translated directly, would be nice to write in English in a US forum. I'm from Germany, but I also write in English.

What do you mean with red light in a Connector?
