So I’ve noticed for last year at least on iOS 11 and 12, we have a contact bug. Or maybe I’ve done something wrong
Under my own name in contacts I have a number for my work listed under work....I.e Home, Work, Main etc

Also, I have their business contact stored as well separate... i.e The Company etc

When I get a call from the office my phone displays my own photo as I’m calling myself
Not sure what to do aside from removing the number in my contact
But I like to say , “hey Siri, call work”

Don't think a bug. From what I've seen, phone will throw up all information that matches the number.

For example, I have separate contact for some mobile numbers of family (eg. Husband and wife, one contact for home, each having separate contact for their cells). With unified contact (ie. Home and cells under one contact), will get "title" of "him and her", subtitle of "<label> number". If remove cells from home contact, just get cell contact info. If have cells in home contact and separate cell contacts, will see one title (can't recall if home or cell) but get subtitle of "label, label2, and x others" [if even more matching contact info]).

Personally, I have always maintained separate contacts for personal vs work. And have done same for others as gives a more clear delineation between worlds.

Seems like a bug if you can't use the "in contact" titles for different number. But I guess it has no way of knowing which contact name to display if its under my name as work and its under The Company as Main number. Guess its giving me precedence....I guess Ill remove it . The whole contact deal is wonky. The contact photos you have saved will not show up full screen if the iCloud Contacts is being used. You have to re-enter each contact, adjust(edit) the image and save it. Then sometimes it reverts again.
[doublepost=1553949763][/doublepost]Also what annoys the **** out me APPLE!!!!!!!! When I have notes stored for contacts, it removes them when syncing with iCloud. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!
Example: "Company Name" on Phone has a paragraph of notes
The one on iCloud the contact has nothing. When it backs up, instead of using the contact on either device that has the most or newest edit, it just prefers whats on the cloud and erases everything.
Frustrates the piss out of me
