Hello all,

I could go into a fairly long story but I won't, basically I've been without my MacBook for 2 months now and I'm really peeved off. I've had enough of the lying, misinformation, waiting on the phone etc.

Is there anyone in Apple somewhat high up that can actually resolve a problem rather than just constantly apologising but not actually doing anything?

Thanks if you can help.

Anyone any lower?!

I'm going to write a letter as well but I'd like to get my MacBook back first!

i don't have the contact of anyone higher at CR, and i generally find the regular chaps helpful. in anycase:

i.) by convention, apple usually issues a replacement/refund if a laptop is being repaired for more than 21 days. it might be an official policy written somewhere, so you might wanna research further.

ii.) in CA, you can request the manufacturer to return/exchange/refund after "reasonable attempts" (i.e 3 attempts) have been made to repair a product. details can be found on your work authorization.

iii.) talk to the manager of the apple store that you purchased your product from, mention i.) & ii.), exercise legal action if needed.
