iPhone 14 Pro Max Contact images not showing full screen 16.1

Anyone else noticed that their contact photos are no longer showing full screen in iOS16.1, I have set Memojis to some of my contacts and previously this would show full screen when they call me, however, this is now only showing in a small cure or next to their name…

See photos of how it used to look vs how it shows now…
