Now that mobileme seems to be syncing properly, I have an issue where I have two macs and two iphones that all have the same contact list. Great, right? No, it is too large (over 3000). There are a lot of them that just have a name and company, no phone, email etc.
I want to get rid of these. But, do I do it on one of the macs or is it best to log-in to mobile me and do it there? Thanks

I took out about 2/3 (2000) records that were useless to me (name but no number or email). I deleted them from the mobile me website on the imac. MobileMe kept up on the imac and the two iphones, but the macbook was sleeping at the time. It still has over 3K and won't update, there are too many to do and think there is something wrong.
So, is there anyway to completely delete the address book on the macbook and let mobile me send it the fresh copy? Thanks

So, after that I had 10,400 contacts. Everyone was tripled or quaded.
Logged out of MM and logged back in. That didn't work either.
Deleted everything and did a export / import from the imac. So, now I have the exact amount as that one.
Now, it pops up every so often to either "Merge, Replace on Computer or Replace on MM or ignore". Have tried everything but replace on MM and nothing seems to happen. At least I got the same address book, but I'm sure any updates won't take place until I get these things synched together.

Went into Isync and reset all of the syncs. Reset Sync History.
All of the other syncs went perfectly, but not contacts (again).
The reminder still pops up with choices to overwrite computer, MM or merge. None work, so the MM blog continues....
