I've seen it repoprted on a few sites that some users have contact photos in iMessages on the 6. I didn't have them on Beta 1 or 2. Anyone have them? is there a way to turn it on? TIA.
Where do these appear in Messages for iPhone 6?
Does it appear for any/all users, or just some?
Does it appear on the message list as well as inside messages?
Does it work for one-on-one conversations as well as group conversations?
Is it just in landscape mode or portrait as well?
Just on the messages list on the left hand side. Not sure about group conversations as I don't have any going on my phone.

Does it appear on the message list as well as inside messages? Message list, not inside for 1-on-1
Does it work for one-on-one conversations as well as group conversations? In the list but not inside
Is it just in landscape mode or portrait as well? Portrait too
The large gap between the edge of the screen and the pic annoyed me (when I had b1 installed) however looking at the above pic it's more obvious - the blue dot for unread messages needs space. But when all your messages are read it looks off centre and bad. I hope they come up with a different way to indicate unread messages?why are they so off center thats what annoys me the most
I don't think there's a way to turn them on yet. I've looked around Settings and can't find it. Have you tried a Reset All Settings, OP?
Ah that makes sense. Zoomed basically gives you the real estate of iPhone 5/s/c which probably don't have the pics right?Okay, so here is what i just discovered. if you change your display setting to "Zoomed", they disappear. On "Standard" they are there.

There is a setting to enable them for Favorites (in relation to the Phone app), but I'm not sure if that applies to or relates to other places beyond Favorites basically.I don't believe there will be a setting to turn them on/off this has been a feature that was exclusive on the 6 Plus since release, and Apple just turned on for the 6 in iOS 9.
