Contact with business entered how to show with name

Basically joe schmooze works for acme rentals. When acme rentals is entered in business that's how the contact lists. I must be missing something simple here. Tia

On the Mac, in Address Book when you create a contact. If you select the checkbox next to "company," the company will be displayed vise the name of the person (see pic). Deselecting this checkbox will make the contact name be displayed.
