I received great customer service in the Apple store today and would really like to let Apple know how great these employees were. Anyone know how I can contact Apple via email regarding this sort of thing?

That makes two of us.

I went to an apple store yesterday to check out macbooks because I have yet to make the switch and needed some convincing. Being a very technical person I wanted to know alot about the workings of Mac OS X and the similarities is has to your usual linux distros. I was very surprised when I was given excellent advice by multiple employees there as well as proper technical details and not some made up rubbish!

Let me know if and how you manage to get your praise over to the apple people or to steve's office.

Cheers!

How in the Hell did you manage to get your paws on Steve's office email?!? :p

Apparently its a really well known address. I've just googled it up and found it. People claim to have emailed him and actual have him personally respond - or 1 of 3 or 4 full time staff that respond for him. Interesting hey! Now I wonder if Bill Gates does that!

I just asked the people who served me for their names, and the email address of their immediate supervisor. They were more than happy to provide that. I sent a quick email to the supervisors pointing out the excellent service of those individuals.

I got an e-mail back off him [steve] once, so yeah, it's possible.

Some people have actually had personal replies from Steve apparently! :)

He probably peruses and people probably flag some for him to see... it's common with most big companies... the CEOs of other majors all have well-known e-mail addresses too... assistants read them, but they do get alerted. For that matter, the White House has them too. ;)

But anyway, I think that would be a great way for anyone who's had exemplary service from Apple to let them know. A lot of times, what goes right and wrong at that level is not fully transparent to management, let alone the CEO....

To be fair, the CEO might never see your email of complaint/praise/innovation unless it's outstanding. But, there will be an assistant who will make sure that real issues get escalated. Things with large CEO rubberstamps on them go through the process much much faster

I'd suggest sending an email to the local store manager though. He can make sure that it ends up on their employee file and he's probable responsible for allocating pay rises etc.
