I was setting up a new MacMini. In the middle of the setup, it asked if I want to set up iCloud. I said yes and now all my contacts are gone. I guess it synced with this new macmini whose Address Book is blank.

Fortunately, I have another mac (macbook pro). But I can't turn it on right now, being afraid that another sync will delete the contacts in it.:(

What can I do to restore my contacts? Please help me.

Turn off your wifi network and then open up your MBP and create a backup of your contacts.
