Hello.

I haven't been able to figure out how to do this so any help would be appreciated.

I have a new mac and basically everything for my iphone will be synced from this new mac... with the exceptoin of contacts and calendars which will come from my work computer.

I have it set up so that everything is working. I have music/movies/etc coming from my new MBP and Contacts and Calendars coming from my work computer.

However, I would like if my iPhone would push the contacts and calendars to my MBP when syncing. I don't want/need it to mess with merging or anything... I don't think that's possible at this point. I would just like to have the contacts and calendar on my MBP if possible.

Thanks

You can do that with MobileMe.

So I signed up for MobileMe free trial to see if this works and am left with some questions.

My MBP has 0 contacts and calendar entries. My iPhone is synced to Exchange through ActiveSync and receives all my contacts and calendar items.

I followed the MobileMe instructions which synced my MBP with MobileMe. I then followed the instructions to get my iPhone set up with MM. The last step was to sync iPhone and MM which had the warning that it would overwrite all contacts, calendars, etc on my iPhone. Well, that would suck because doing that would also blank out my Exchange items.

Any help?

Sorry. You didn't specify that you are already using ActiveSync for your calendar and contacts. You can't use MobileMe and Exchange at the same time for your calendar and contacts.

The best solution will come out next summer when Snow Leopard is released. It will include Exchange support for iCal and Address Book.

In the meantime, I think the most popular choice is to use Microsoft Entourage to access your Exchange server. If you want, you could then sync Entourage with iCal and Address Book.
