Contacts Icon - partial 'customize'

A 'small potatoes' item indeed, but it seems that Apple may not have got around to correcting their own icons to handle the new features of 18, or just an odd partially finished look to what they ended up with -

Home Screen > Press and Hold > Edit > Customize > Small / Dark - and Contacts looks like this?

Multi-coloured stripes only a fragment of the icon - in what is supposed to be a 'dark' mode - looks odd. Like bad code writing. Stripes don't seem to designate anything - and inconsistent with, say, the design of their Mail, Notes and Reminders icons. Normal? Huh.
