Greetings,
I have two people, including myself, on a group thread in the Messages app and going back at least one year of correspondence. Suddenly I cannot send messages on this thread because the two contacts are missing from the "TO:" header on my Mac.
I subsequently sent a "test" message from my iPhone because this condition seems to be only on the Mac. the message now appears as a new thread on Mac while all is normal on iPhone.
Is there a way to combine the two threads so that all correspondence is on the same thread on Mac? Or how do I get the same two persons back on the original thread, I can't find a means to add a contact to an existing thread.

iPhone XS - OS 15.6.1
Mac Book Pro 13 2015 - OS12.6.1
